Our #1 rated player Dwight Smith Jr. has selected Georgia Tech to play his college baseball if he indeed goes to college. Smith is projected by many to land in the 2nd Round of the amateur draft in June.  Danny Hall and the Yellow Jackets won the recruiting battle keeping Smith in the State of Georgia. Danny Hall's staff has a way of convincing top prospects to stay in school and we will see how this unfolds with Smith.

Julius Gaines the slick fielding SS from Luella and our #3 rated player has chosen Florida International at the next level. Some publications have Gaines going late 1st early 2nd round in the draft. Gaines chose the Florida school over at least a dozen other top rated programs.

That leaves Larry Greene as our only other Top Ten Prospect non-committed at this point.
