Scoutz USA gonna be tough to handle this season

SCOUTZ USA 17U goes 3-1-1 in W. Palm

While most teams were working on week 3 of their season the Scoutz USA 17U were holding opening day in West Palm Beach. The Scoutz USA 17 opened up the season with 5-Star National Boz out of Jacksonville, FL. A nip and tuck contest saw starter Trey Thompson get in a jam early in the game falling behind 1-0. Greenbrier high reliever Lucas Dixon comes in with a bases loaded jam in the 2nd inning and pulls off the miracle holding the score at 2-1. The Scoutz would load the bases themselves in the 4th with a 2 run double by Hardaway High's Trevohn Henry. The 3-2 lead would be turned over to Richmond Hill Closer Tyler Harrison and he slammed the door on 5-Star.

Game two featured Islands High RHP Kole Newman vs. Chandler bats a national power team. Newman would k6 in 3 innings of work but a few miscues would lead to a 4-3 loss to Chandler.

Game 3 was a matchup between Exposure Prime another national power vs. Stephens County RHP Chaz Bridges. Bridges threw a gem and Bill Knight collected two hits to get the offense going in a 7-3 win for Scoutz.

Game 4 vs. FTB Tucci the defending national champions vs. 2019 Baseball Academy of Hope RHP Daniel Espino. Espino would fire 92 MPH fastballs at Tucci and kept them at bat all day in a 1-1 tie.

The Final game was a premium matchup with the top Florida Burn Platnium team. Greenbrier High Jackson Hodnick pitched 3 great innings and Dixon, Harrison along with West Florence Hunter Harvin LHP held this group of SEC and ACC commits to only 1 run in a 2-1 win for Scoutz USA.

Great competition and some beautiful pitching performances by the Scoutz led to a great record in the event.  This is a outstanding ball club that will get better as the season progresses.
